Thank you for sending in names of family members that have served in the Armed Forces! If you haven't yet, please send me the name, title, and branch served by Monday. We will be writing our letters of thanks on Tuesday. These will come home with your First Grader so that they can be hand delivered :)
Conferences
Conferences and half days are this week on Tuesday, November 11th and Thursday, November 13th. Dismissal will be at 11:51am. I look forward to meeting with all of you to chat about your wonderful First Graders :)
KidBlog
We did our first "post" on KidBlog this past Friday! We discussed what blogging is, what to share/not share, and most importantly what to blog about. This week we will discuss writing conventions used in blogging (spaces, uppercase letters, and punctuation) as well as what "comments" are. Take a moment to read our blog posts and feel free to comment as well! This will be helpful when we start replying to comments in the next few weeks to keep the conversations going. * When posting comments leave only your First name OR you could say "Jacob's Mom" if you would like. Happy blog reading and commenting!
