December Scholastic Book Orders
Scholastic book orders for December are being sent home this week. Orders should be turned in by Monday, December 10th.
Work Sent Home
Sometimes work will be sent home with your student that doesn't have a mark from me. These are either Friday doodles, work we have completed together in class, or something they completed as an extra choice that day. When you take work out of your student's folder, try to have a conversation with them about it whether it has a mark or not. Also, some papers are worthy of a 1-4 score and some will have a simple smiley face, check, etc. Know that I gain most of my knowledge of their understanding from in class work, activities, and discussions. Any questions or comments about this please do not hesitate to ask me!
Math Facts Memorization
A note will be coming home with your student this week about our Math Facts Practice. While we practice our facts in class, this is also helpful to practice with your student at home. We will assess students with one addition fact group at a time (+0, +1, +2, etc.). When they have successfully memorized all addition, we will move on to subtraction :) Happy Math Fact Practicing!
HOM Focus: Managing Impulsivity (Post to our classroom Wallwisher located on our classroom homepage. We will share on Friday during our HOM Chat time.)
