Reading Response Page
You may have noticed a page coming home in your child's reading bag. If you have not, keep your eyes open fort this. This page will cover various topics that help students organize their thoughts while reading and help them understand the text. Some of this worksheet will be filled out during our reading groups, but the rest will be sent home to complete. These pages should be kept in their reading bags and I will collect them when I meet with their groups the following week. Thanks for your support with our growing readers!
Book Swap Day TUESDAY
To kick off March is Reading Month in our classroom, we are going to
have a book swap! Each student may bring up to 3 books that they have
already read or would like to exchange. Only students who bring books in
to swap will be able to participate. Students will have the opportunity to
go home with as many books as they bring in.
This is a great way to get new reading material without spending any
money! Dig under your bed, in your basement, and in your closet for your
old and used books to swap out for some fresh ones. Happy Reading!
Book Swap day is: Tuesday, March 13th
Dismissal Changes
A friendly reminder that if you have a dismissal change, please email our school secretaries in addition to myself. I do not always have an opportunity to check my email after lunch and we want to make sure the office is aware so they can communicate with me or a Guest Teacher that may be in for me. Thank you!
