Welcome to March, which is of course, Reading Month! Our celebration this year is titled "Once Upon a Time at Salem," which follows a fairytale theme. This week a packet will be going home with your child that contains important information about this month and all the festivities centered around reading. It also includes a school-wide reading/writing log for March that will replace our normal monthly reading log in the back pocket of your child's red folder. Stay tuned!
Mystery Readers
To go along with "March is Reading Month" we are inviting MYSTERY READERS into the classroom! Parents, Grandparents, Older Siblings, Aunts, Uncles, are welcome :) You are welcome to bring your own book or you can choose one from our Picture Book Shelf. ***In the comments, please leave us 3 clues either about YOU or the BOOK you are going to read and I will share clues with the class throughout the day. If you would like to, you can stick to the Fairytale theme or any book of your choice :) . We look forward to having you read to us!

Report Cards
If you haven't gotten a chance yet, please login and look at your student's report card. This ensures that we can work together on helping your First Grader continue to grow this year! If you are having difficulty and would like me to print it out for you, please reach out and I am happy to do so.
